- The 18-year-old has had a solid Premier League debut.
- He's earned some rave reviews but is much happier for being able to help the team continue winning.
- Gilmour admits he was having breakfast when he was told the great news.
Billy Gilmour has put in a double shift in the impressive Everyone win. Moreover, the youngster appears to be more enthusiastic over the three points rather than his own competitive debut.
"It was amazing, it was a dream come true to make my full debut, but most of all getting the three points and carrying on winning," Gilmour said, after the final whistle.
"Hopefully we continue that on the way forward.
The Scotland international admits that the news of his debut came as a great surprise, as he was peacefully eating his breakfast.
"[I was told] this morning, just before the game, I was eating and we got told the team," he laughed.
A win over Everton keeps the Blues comfortably inside the UCL qualification. Frank Lampard's team are currently 5 points and 3 points ahead of Wolves and Man United respectively, at the moment.
